A: In order to provide good results for users, all free or paid listings must be closely related to the search
keyword or phrase and approved by our staff before being published. Search lemon paid advertiser's listings
are the first results, then the free listings appear.
Q: Can anyone put a search lemon on their site?

Q: What's the difference between an affiliate search lemon and the regular one?
A: With either one you get the same great search results. A search lemon is for anyone that wishes to
have a quality internet search engine on their site. An affiliate search lemon is for our advertisers that
want to earn advertising dollars in addition to having a quality search engine.
Q: Can I list my site without creating an account?
A: No. In order to list your site you must create an advertiser account.
Q: Can I list my site for free?
A: Yes you can. An account must be created then log into your account. Choose a keyword or
key phrase relevant to your site, change the bid amount to $0.00 and submit. Your listing will
appear after the paid results.
Q: What is the criteria for approval or disapproval listings?
A: The restrictions are: If you want to bid on the keyword "travel"
then your site, or the page on your site you are linking to, must be travel related.
Q: Do you share or sell members email addresses?
A: No we do not, we only use our members email address to inform them of changes or updates
pertaining to their search lemon advertiser account.
Q: How long does it take to get my site listed?
A: From the time you submit your listing it takes 1-5 days.
Q: If my site is not approved for the keyword or phrase I bid on what do I do?
A: Bid on keywords or phrases that are more closely related to your site.
Q: As an affiliate can I get a check instead of advertising money in my account?
A: No, not at this time. We reward you with advertising dollars in your search lemon account.
Q: How does my account get charged for clicks to my site?
A: Only one click per listing, per day, from an IP address is deducted from your account.
example: you bid a penny on the keyword phrase "digital camera", someone does a search
for digital camera at 9:00 am and click on your listing. They search for digital camera
again at 3:00 pm the same day and click your link again. Your account is deducted once
at your bid per click, in this case, one penny.
Sign up for a free account and get $3.00 instantly credited to your account to start bidding on keywords. Put our affiliate search lemon on your site and we'll credit your account another *$10.00 and add a penny for every search, three cents for every click from your affiliate search lemon. Put our generic search on your site and receive *$5.00 plus one cent per search and three cents per click credit.
*To receive the credit, you must email the webmaster with the URL of the page you installed your affiliate search lemon, or generic search box on, along with your search lemon user name. Once confirmed, you will receive the credit into your account. The credit can only be used to advertise on search lemon and has no cash value.
